Ohs of Dongbok Stone Lamp, Where People
Prayed for...
It stands beside Dongbok
Post Office at Dongsang-ri, Dongbok-myeon,
Hwasun. It is said that it was built
by Munheongong Oh Dae-seung, former
government officer. Oh Dae-seung was
the founder of the Ohs of Dongbok. He
lived in Donbbok, digged 48 holes on
the stone lamp, and made a bow every
night. Probably because of that, his
descendants were prosperous.
This stone lamp has 48 holes on the
natural rock. It is Cultural Asset Material
No. 62. Contact Dongbok-myeon Office
if you want to see. In 1990, its house
was repaired.
