(Korea in 1592)
It is located at 11 Samcheon-ri,
Hwasun-eup, Hwasun. This site was the
place where Choi Gyeong-un, Choi Gyeong-jang,
and Choi Gyeong-hoe established a royal
army office in the Japanese invasion
of Korea(1592). They issued written
appeals throughout the nation and five
thousand people applied. On July 24,
1952, a royal army was organized and
Choi Gyoeng-hoe became a Jeolla commander.
After the Japanese Invasion of Korea
was suppressed, a king granted some
government post to Hong-woo, Chyeong-un's
first son, but he rejected the post
and retired, being greatly indignant
at not avenging his country and his
family in Japan. A king named him Gosa
and his son, Hu-heon built this pavilion
later.
