with a Fine View of Mt. Mudeung
This temple stands on
Yeongpyeong-ri, Iseo-myeon, Hwasun on
the part of Mt. Mudeung. No records
remain to show its year of building.
Only it is said that Buddhist Monk Uisang
built and Sunheung rebuilt during the
Silla Period. Some said that Buddhist
Monk Doseon or Bojo built early in the
Goryeo Dynasty. Since it was burnt in
the Korean War, it fell into ruins for
10 years. In 1957, Gwaneumjeon and Yosachae
were built.
